May 2008

One of our residential projects was selected to participate in the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center's Gardens on Tour 2008. This marks our second time to be included in this prestigious annual garden tour.

2008

Annie Gillespie, owner of Botanical Concerns LLC, participated for the 2nd time on a HGTV show. This time it was with My House is Worth What? Annie came up with a design for the backyard that would increase the value and market appeal of the home. Filmed in January 2008, air time scheduled for Summer 2008.

October 7 & 8, 2006

Botanical Concerns LLC was honored to be a participating sponsor in the 2006 AIA Austin Homes Tour. The Tarrytown "Craftsman Cottage" designed by Barley & Pfeiffer Architects features our trademark boulder work and distinct perennial gardens. This home was also included on the 2007 National AIA Tour.

One of our residential landscapes was included in the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center's Gardens on Tour 2005.

Summer 2005

Annie Gillespie, founder and principal of Botanical Concerns, participated in HGTV's Landscapers' Challenge. Annie's team was challenged with transforming a nondescript prairie wildscape with drainage problems into a welcoming green space. The result was a captivating native landscape with creative stonework, a pond and bridge.
